Creating Your First Campaign
Good to know: Campaigns are designed to facilitate the content planning process. The purpose of a campaign is two-fold:
Provide you with a framework to explore a topic in-depth
Create multiple opportunities to build trust with potential customers by teaching them about a subject relevant to their business interests.
Campaigns consist of several pieces of content (usually 3-5) focused on a particular theme or topic. This creates a corpus of work that provides a more in-depth exploration of a subject that's both relevant to your business as well as potential customers who might purchase your products or services.
Additionally, having multiple blog posts on a single topic provides opportunities for internal backlinks and increased on-page time from your visitors. As your content breadth increases, website visitors spend more time exploring it, learning about your business, and improving your key Google ranking metrics like average session time and bounce rate. This creates a rich body of work for Google to attribute to your website and improves your search engine rankings for relevant search terms.
Building trust with your potential customers is important because it helps to establish a relationship between you and them. Creating content campaigns is one way to build this trust. By providing valuable and relevant information to your potential customers, you are showing them that you are an expert in your field and that you are trustworthy. This can help to increase sales and encourage loyalty.
